My first album of the year arrived yesterday, and it would have been a contender for the best-of-2006-list, had it just gotten here a bit earlier. I’m talking about No One Wins by Danish band Windermere. My fellow bloggers rated the album very high, and Morten even made it into his favourite album of 2006!
And it really is easy to see why. The first word that came to my mind after listening to the album for the first time was majestic! There’s a very special and somewhat superior atmosphere over the whole playing time, and I guess with further listening sessions, the songs will reveal even more of their grandness.
