About MOTM

My name’s Chris, and I’m a music-junkie from Switzerland. I started blogging in 2004, and I’ve had my ups and downs with it since then. My main intention for blogging about music is to spread the word about artists that I think should be heard by many more ears than just mine. Over the years, I’ve added other ramblings to the blog, but the focus stayed on music. Pathetic as it may sound, music really was my first love, and it will probably stay that way forever. I think a day without music is a lost day!

Apart from music, I also enjoy frequent visits  to the cinema, and whenever time and money permits, travel around this beautiful earth. This often goes in hand with one of my other hobbies: diving. The underwater world always gives me a kind of peace and tranquility that I don’t find anywhere else above the sea. Last but not least, I’m into photography, and you will find some of my pics popping up from time to time on my blog as well.

There you have it… MOTM in a nutshell. If you want to know more, you can always hit the Contact-button above and ask…

  1. I got turned onto your blog through totally fuzzy sometime back and I love the selection. As a fellow musician, I humbly submit our third record for download to your readers. A quick introduction: We’re an indie band from Santa Barbara, CA called Tripdavon that formed in 2004 and since then we’ve released 3 records and toured through three continents on our own and with acts like The Bravery, Eric Burdon & The Animals and Poison, among others. I’d be happy to go into greater detail but I don’t want to take up too much space. In any event, here’s a link (tripdavon.com/epk) to a portion of our website where you stream all of the songs on our past two releases and here’s a link to download the entire album (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DK358S7C) . The name of our most recent release is “Sketches From Silence” and we’d love the opportunity to get the album up if you can accommodate it. Thanks very much, I hope you enjoy the music and keep up the good work!
