Los Angelenos

Here are two artists from the City Of Angels you might want to check out!

The Ten Thousand $ Tattoo

Fuzzy indie-folk is what Ryan Klauk from L.A. calls his music. You could also call it bedroom-pop. Ryan is a one-man-band, and has released his album A Cottage By The Sea last year with indie-label Closet Trekkie. The album was written for and about his father after he lost his life to cancer, and the songs do transport that sad feeling. The next TT$T-album is already nearing the finishing stages, and Ryan has also released some albums before. Best is you check out his MySpace for all the information you need, and of course there are more downloads. Ryan‘s also on the lookout for a new label, so if you’re interested in adding a new promising artist to your roster, give him a shout!

Nicholas Alan

Nice and catchy Singer-Songwriter-pop with a hint of folk. Alan originally hails from Atlanta, but has now put up his tent in Los Angeles as well. In May 2005, his debut A World Like Ours saw the light of day, and his latest EP/CD Busker was released in early 2007. Nicholas lives everyday with the goal of getting his music to more and more people“, and I guess he could well be a future house-hold name in L.A.’s music scene. If you like Sufjan Stevens or Rufus Wainwright, you should check out the soundbites below, and you know where to go for more information!
