Quick Tipp

Fine recording company Big Scary Monsters has sent me a new song to promote, and I’m happy to do so since I think it’s a very good one. The artist’s called House Of Brothers, and here’s what BSM has to say about them:

Hailing from Nottingham, England, House of
is the solo project from Andrew Jackson, former member of The
Murder of Rosa Luxemburg, one of the finest post-hardcore band’s the UK has seen
in many a year. Taking on a much different style this time around, House
of Brothers
music, with it’s beautiful strings, clever guitar lines and
gentle vocals, draws it’s influences from the likes of Nick Drake, Vashti
Bunyan, Tom Waits, Iron And Wine and Sun Kil Moon.

The debut EP titled Deadman is set for a release on November 26th, and the title-track has been made available for download. Make sure you visit the artist’s MySpace where you can stream more songs from the EP. So if you’re into relaxed indie-folk, you definitely don’t want to miss a visit in this house!
