On We Go…

There was no internet access here yesterday, so I’m gonna continue yesterday’s posting today. Let’s go!

All good things Scancinavian are most likely to be picked up by great blog It’s A Trap. So the first two offerings of today are from excactly that blog!

Finland’s melodic rock band Plain Fade has made some older demo tracks available for download. Worth checking out! Clicking here will take you to the site with the downloads.

Next up is a Christmas offering from Sweden’s Eskobar. I thought their latest album was really a bit boring; now you can download a ZIP-file with three acoustic versions of songs from their first three albums (Someone New, Sun In My Eyes and Violence). I have yet to listen to them… maybe they’re good? Make up your own mind. Click here for the download site.

Over to the USA now. The rockers of Brazil also have a Christmas gift for you: a very good (and funny) acoustic version of their song A Year In Heaven. If you know the original, you’ll be surprised how this one sounds!

And some news from those Leeds lads of iLiKETRAiNS: the band has announced their first concerts for 2007, and one reason for that is the release of their first single with Beggar’s Banquet. It’s called SPENCER PERCEVAL, and it will be out somewhen by the end of March. The full-length debut album will follow later in 2007. Great thing to look forward to! Read more details and tour dates on their site.

Pay a visit to Morten today and read a bit about Glasgow’s AirSpiel. The band is really worth checking out! Well, if you’re a frequent reader of my blog, you’ll know that already… 🙂

Yep, still wondering about that snow…
