Burning Hearts – Night Animal (MP3)
first 2010 single from one of Shelflife‘s most popular bands.
Moto Boy – The Heart Is A Rebel (MP3, e-mail required)

the complete 2009 album For Tomorrow is now available for free on Last.FM, including two new bonus tracks!
The Electric Pop Group – Not By Another (MP3)
just laid my hands on their latest album Seconds, which sounds like a pleasant affair so far. Matinée Recordings is offering this song here for free, and another one on their homepage.
Pale Sunday – Shooting Star (MP3)
and one more from Matinée. Brazilians Pale Sunday offer the title track from their latest EP.
Various stuff worth mentioning:
If blog-buddies Morten and Peter and myself all recommend one band, you definitely should not hesitate to grab the stuff! I won’t go into further details as everything’s already been written in English at Morten‘s or in German at Peter‘s blog. And now turn your heart into a boombox!
Probably a bit of old news, but in case you’ve missed the new remix of Young Love from Sweden’s Moto Boy, here’s another chance to get it!
Moto Boy – Young Love (Regina Remix) (MP3) (left-click)
and here’s a song by said Regina… fine Finnish electro-pop:
Regina – Katso Maisemaa (MP3)
Our Spanish friend J.A. recommends Arvid from fabulous Swedish label Wonderland Records and calls them “The Electric Kent“. Easy to see why once you’ve listened to their songs!
Arvid – I Dina Ögon (MP3)
Arvid – Hur Kunde Jag Läta Det Ske (MP3)
And to end this post, here’s a pretty cool tune by Awesome New Republic; Florida is taken from their latest EP Rational Geographic Vol. II. You can download this one and the Vol. I EP for free from here.
Awesome New Republic – Florida (MP3)
Another week starts, and what better way to dive into it than with a few free songs. Swedish label Songs I Wish wants to bring us summer-feelings with Moto Boy and offers What It Was Like To Be With You for free. Here you go:
Moto Boy – What It Was Like To Be With You (MP3)

I’m just listening to the new Fleet Foxes album, and it looks like this could be the Trials Of Van Occupanther of 2008! Very relaxed and catchy Alt/Country/Indie… definitely worth checking out!!!
Fleet Foxes – White Winter Hymnal (MP3)

The Lodger‘s latest album Life Is Sweet has just been released, and while I have yet to be convinced if it is as good as the debut, the band is so generous to offer us a song from it. Reviews have been mixed, but as always, it probably is best to decide for yourself. Here’s a little help:
The Lodger – A Hero’s Welcome (MP3 via noisedeluxe)

More might follow later… or not! :)
Dave from Glasgow’s indie-pop-band AirSpiel has let me know that their rather great debut album In Another Life is now available on iTunes as well. They will also play as a support act to Deacon Blue and The Saw Doctors this coming saturday. More infos on their homepage, and you can still listen to the whole album on the bands bebo-profile!
Another great band from Leeds starts emerging. Stateless has been around for a while now, and has already released a few EPs. The debut album should be out in a few weeks, and this interesting mix of Electronica, Trip-Hop and Indie-Rock could well stir some waves. The fact that singer Chris James sounds a bit like Chris Martin may help, too. Here are three studio-session songs, but make sure you visit the bands MySpace and listen to the excellent tune Down Here!
Stateless – Down Here (Studio Session)
Stateless – Horizon (Studio Session)
Stateless – Running Out (Studio Session)
UK dreampop-indies Engineers have released three new tunes on their MySpace. Unfortunately not downloadable, but really worth listening to! The band is currently touring in the UK, playing new material, so I hope there will be a new album soon!
There’s a new song out from blog-darlings Sir Salvatore. It’s a work in progress for their next EP, but Ambalina already sounds damn catchy, doesn’t it?
Sir Salvatore – Ambalina
Sir Salvatore – Hooray This Projector
Sir Salvatore – Public Key
Last but not least make sure you download and listen to Moto Boy‘s fabulous tune Blue Motorbike I’ve posted yesterday. This could well turn out a veritable summerhit!!!
